SITE NOTICE

We, Cairn Homes Properties Ltd, intend to apply for Permission,

For development at:

Castletreasure (townland), Carr’s Hill/Carrigaline Road (R609), Douglas, Cork.

The development consists of:

Permission for the following Large Scale Residential development (LRD) comprising the construction of 108 no. residential units comprising a mix of 8 no. 1 bed apartments and 100 no. 2 bed apartments in 2 no. blocks ranging in height from 4 to 5 storey’s and all associated ancillary development works including vehicular and pedestrian access, drainage, footpaths and cycle lanes, landscaping, amenity and open space areas, boundary treatments, bicycle and car parking (undercroft and surface level spaces) , bin and bike storage, public lighting and all other ancillary development at Castletreasure (townland), Carr’s Hill/Carrigaline Road (R609), Douglas, Cork. The proposed development will replace 40 no. residential units consisting of 20 no. 2-bed duplexes and 20 no. 3-bed duplexes permitted under An Bord Pleanála Ref. ABP-304367-19.

An Environmental Impact Assessment Addendum Report has been submitted to the planning authority with the application. The Environmental Impact Assessment Addendum Report will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the offices of the Local Authority.

The planning application may be inspected, or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the Planning Authority, City Hall, Cork, during its public opening hours. A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made in writing to the planning authority on payment of the prescribed fee, €20, within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application, and such submissions or observations will be considered by the planning authority in making a decision on the application. The planning authority may grant permission subject to or without conditions, or may refuse to grant permission.
